Steve Knights Joins as London Market New Business Underwriter

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Knights as London Market New Business Underwriter. 

Steve joins DCL from Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe (AND-E), bringing a wealth of experience in underwriting and broker engagement across the London and wholesale insurance markets. 

In his new role, Steve will be based at our Lime Street office and will focus on underwriting wholesale and London-market risks. He will work closely with brokers to shape and price business, negotiate terms, and deliver solutions aligned with DCL’s appetite. Steve’s appointment marks an important step in strengthening our wholesale capabilities, complementing the retail momentum established with the hire of Ian White earlier this year. 

This strategic hire underlines our commitment to supporting brokers across both retail and wholesale channels, ensuring they have access to dedicated expertise and competitive solutions.
