Backing Jack Callan for the 2026 Racing Season

With over 50 career winners already under his belt, Jack is firmly establishing himself as one of racing’s rising talents. The son of multiple Group One winning jockey Neil Callan, he’s now carving out a successful career of his own - built on discipline, resilience and a sharp understanding of risk. 

After spending the winter racing in Australia and Hong Kong, Jack returns for the new season with Direct Commercial backing him all the way. 

Hard Work Before the Headlines 

Success on the track doesn’t happen by chance. As Jack explained in our recent Quickfire Q&A, life as a jockey runs on routine, preparation and early starts, with mornings in the stables coming long before race day. 

That commitment has been there from the start. From juggling A levels alongside competing at major meetings such as Royal Ascot, Jack’s career so far is a lesson in balancing pressure, performance and focus - something that resonates strongly beyond the racing world. 

Managing Risk in a High Stakes Sport 

In our Quickfire chat, Jack spoke about the importance of measured decision-making, knowing when to push and when to hold back, and staying calm in high pressure moments - all essential skills in an environment where margins are tight and the stakes are high.
