Direct Commercial Returns to BIBA 2026 with a Bold New Look and a T20 focus
Last week, we headed to Manchester for the insurance industry’s biggest event of the year and brought a bold new look. It’s safe to say, we caught the attention of brokers, partners, and plenty of industry regulars.
A Fresh Look for a New Chapter
BIBA 2026 marked an exciting moment for DCL as we showcased our newly refreshed brand. Our updated stand reflected an evolution: modern, vibrant, and designed to spark conversation. It provided the perfect space to reconnect with familiar faces while introducing our new identity to the wider market.
Bringing T20 to Life
At the heart of our stand this year was our T20 product, which inspired a fun and interactive darts theme. Like our T20 offering, which can score policyholders up to 20% premium reductions year on year over a three-year period, we invited BIBA attendees to a game of darts to be in with a chance to win big - two tickets to Alexandra Palace for the World Darts Championship 2026!
The response was incredible:
- Over 150 participants took part in the challenge
- Hundreds of DCL goodies given away!
- A steady stream of visitors kept the atmosphere buzzing
- Plenty of friendly competition and great conversations followed

Connecting with Brokers and Partners
BIBA is always an invaluable opportunity to strengthen relationships, and this year was no exception. Our team met with a wide range of brokers and partners, discussing opportunities, sharing insights, and exploring how we can continue to support their businesses.
A key theme throughout our conversations was the current soft market and the increasing demand for stability and predictability. Brokers are looking for solutions they can rely on to deliver consistent outcomes for their clients, even when market conditions fluctuate. This is where products like T20 resonated strongly offering a longer-term, more stable approach that helps remove uncertainty and supports more confident planning.
Our Business Development Managers played a key role throughout the event, engaging with attendees and demonstrating what makes DCL different, particularly our commitment to long-term partnerships and delivering dependable solutions in a changing market.
Showcasing Our Broker Portal
Alongside conversations and networking, we also offered live demonstrations of our broker portal. These sessions allowed attendees to see firsthand how our technology can streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall experience of working with DCL.
