Direct Commercial Limited is delighted to become a member of the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA). The MGAA is a non-profit making organisation that represents the interests of managing general agents in the UK, of which over 100 full members collectively underwrite approximately £3.5bn of gross written premium.
The MGAA aims to:
be a central representative body to put the views of members to government, regulators, parliament, the European Commission and other relevant organisations.
be a technical centre providing commentary, information and guidance on regulatory developments of relevance to underwriting agencies.
promote UK underwriting agency sector through good public relations and appropriate communications to the trade and general media
work actively to improve the underwriting agency sector’s professionalism, stability and competitiveness.
