DCL Expands Online Commercial Motor Offering

News & Blog

Direct Commercial is now further increasing the flexibility of its Haul in One Commercial Motor product by offering Protected No Claims Bonus for vehicles with 5 years NCB or more. This addition coincides with a significant reduction to all Goods in Transit quotations by up to 50%.

Aimed at the Courier & Haulage markets, Haul in One now provides the option for policyholders with a claims free driving history to safeguard their No Claims Bonus in the event they are involved in an accident. In regards to our Goods in Transit offering, we hope that this reduction in premium will increase competitiveness and further strengthen the Haul in One brand amongst its target audience.

Following the continued support of our ever expanding network of brokers, we are pleased to maintain our promise of listening to feedback to ensure that Haul in remains the all in one haulage insurance solution for the online commercial motor market. For brokers needing a fast and user-friendly source for insurance quotations on NCB rated policies Haul in is a time-efficient solution for smaller policies.

Following an initial launch in October 2013, Haul in released its brand new platform in February 2015 leading the way for a host of new additions and improvements to the existing product. As a result, Haul in One’s user base has grown to include nearly 300 agents who all now have access to the unique benefits that our 100% online quote system provides.

The Haul in One online portal has been simplified to allow a quote to be obtained within minutes and with a dedicated account for each user, any quote can be edited at a later stage and revised terms obtained instantly. Haul in One’s aim is to provide Brokers with a quick and easy way to obtain quotations for commercial policyholders without the hassle of submitting presentations and waiting for call backs.
